Tea Towels:

A graduate of Smith College’s Ada Comstock Scholars program for “women of non-traditional age,” jennie blue owned a retail store in rural Vermont where she helped artists develop and market their work. But she yearned to create her own artwork taking inspiration from everyday items. Our sale features her beautiful, 100% cotton tea towels. We hope that you enjoy choosing from her fine, washable prints!

Spices and Chocolates:

Andrew and Abby Handlos are the founders of Sugar and Spice Farm located in Unity, Maine. Abby is an amateur artist, writer and gardener. Andrew holds culinary, chemistry and medical degrees. Together they grow a wide variety of herbs and spices with no pesticides or chemicals, use organic products whenever possible, only include necessary ingredients, use low-carbon packing, and employ natural, safe means of sustaining emulsion and preservation. Chocolates are made from coverture, the highest grade of chocolate, and are hand dipped by an artisan chocolatier. Spices are low in sodium and contain the least amount needed to create perfect flavor profiles. Enjoy!

Coffees:

Locals know about Rock City Coffee and the amazing coffee they offer. A micro-roastery in Rockland, Maine, Rock City is an employee-owned cooperative, specializing in various roasts from around the globe. New Hope Midcoast is collaborating with Rock City to offer Brazilian Cerrado caffeinated coffee and Mexican Organic decaffeinated coffees in pound, half-pound and sample packet sizes. The larger sizes are perfect for company over the holidays while the 4.0 ounce sampler packets make great stocking stuffers!

Maine-Made Maple Syrups:

For nearly 30 years, Maine Gold has boiled and bottled nature’s sweetest treat. Made right here in the sugar maple forests of rural Maine, this maple syrup is as versatile as it is delicious. Enjoy some today on your pancakes, in your coffee, on your next tray of roasted vegetables or in your favorite granola recipe.
